Return And Refund Policy
At Firefly FPV, we strive to provide the best customer experience by offering fair return, refund, and warranty policies. Please review our guidelines below to ensure a smooth process for returns, exchanges, and warranty claims.
Firefly FPV reserves the right to update or modify the terms, policies, and notices at any time without prior notice.
Return Policy for New and Unused Products
- Firefly FPV offers a 7-day return policy on most new, unopened equipment, starting from the date of delivery.
- Unopened Products: Products must be in their original packaging, with all accessories intact (manuals, cables, etc.). If any items are missing or the packaging is damaged, the return will not be accepted.
- Opened, Used, or Damaged Products: No return or refund will be granted for items that have been opened, used, dismantled, or damaged unless the product is defective or arrived damaged.
- Returns due to personal reasons (e.g., no longer needed) will incur a 10% restocking fee, and return shipping costs are borne by the customer.
Refund Process
- A refund will be issued once Firefly FPV receives and inspects the returned product. Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days, excluding a 2% restocking fee, any payment gateway charges (if applicable), and shipping fees.
Defective Products (DOA) & Faulty Items
- If a product is dead on arrival (DOA), damaged during shipping, or a wrong item is received, you must inform Firefly FPV via email or phone within 48 hours of delivery to be eligible for a return or replacement.
- Once the issue is confirmed, Firefly FPV will either replace the product (if in stock) or issue a refund.
- DOA Claims: For defective items, please retain the original packaging and provide images or videos showing the defect for verification.
- Flight Controllers: Upon delivery, verify the product by connecting it via USB and checking it in Betaflight before any further use. Any soldering or user modification to the flight controller will void the DOA warranty.
Warranty Policy
Firefly FPV provides no warranty of any kind for any of the equipment it sells or distributes. However, we assure you that all products go through strict quality control (QC) from the manufacturer before shipping.
- Manufacturer Defects & OEM Support: In case of manufacturing defects, OEM support will be provided to the buyer as far as possible, depending on our contract with the OEM. Firefly FPV is not responsible for damages caused by improper usage, modifications, or external factors (e.g., power surges, water damage, crashes, or incorrect installation).
- Electronics & Installation: This policy does not cover user error, damage to components upon installation or dismantling, modifications, power surges, electrical fire, or water damage. It is strongly recommended to check for short circuits before powering up any electronics.
- Motors: When installing motors, always verify that the screw length is appropriate screws that are too long can contact and damage the motor windings. Damage caused by incorrect screw installation is not covered under this policy.
- DJI Products: All DJI-related warranty and defective claims must be handled directly with DJI through their official service portal.
Missing Items
- If any items or accessories are missing from your order, you must notify Firefly FPV within 24 hours of delivery. Claims made after 24 hours will not be accepted.
- For claims regarding missing items, Firefly FPV recommends that customers take pictures of the unopened package or record an unboxing video as proof.
- Missing items due to packaging mistakes will be replaced or refunded based on stock availability.
Exclusions
- Firefly FPV does not cover damages due to external forces such as electrical fires, water damage, power surges, or user error (e.g., improper installation).
- Any product that shows signs of misuse, user modifications, or alterations will not be eligible for return, replacement, or warranty claims.
Return Process
- To initiate a return or exchange, contact Firefly FPV via email or phone with your order details and reason for the return. Once your return is approved, you will receive a return shipping label for defective products.
- For non-defective, unwanted products, you will be responsible for return shipping, and tracking is mandatory.
- Once the returned product is received and inspected, please allow 3-5 business days for processing, and up to 7-14 business days for items requiring extensive testing.
- Refunds or replacements will be issued after approval by a Firefly FPVrepresentative
Additional Notes
- Firefly FPV reserves the right to refuse any returns, refunds, or exchanges if the product does not meet the specified conditions or shows signs of damage or tampering.
- Reimbursement for return shipping costs is limited to actual postage and excludes packaging materials. The maximum reimbursement will be 100 INR.
